El compositor Charles Gounod, reconocido como una de las figuras más relevantes de la música francesa del siglo XIX por obras como Fausto y el Ave María, nació un día como hoy, pero de 1818 en París, Francia. Para recordarlo te compartimos la interpretación del aria "Ah, lève-toi, soleil!", del segundo acto de su ópera Romeo y Julieta, en voz del tenor Fernando de la Mora, acompañado por la Orquesta de la Ópera Nacional de Gales, bajo la dirección de Charles Mackerras.
