"Le prometo que a la muerte le haré cantinfleadas, pues yo soy así". A 22 años de su fallecimiento recordamos con mucho cariño al actor cómico mexicano que “no dijo y ya dijo", y que gracias a él se creó el verbo cantinflear, para indicar cuando se habla de forma incongruente y evasiva. Grabó alrededor de 50 películas, entre ellas El padrecito, El barrendero, El bolero de Raquel. Cantinflas decía que "La primera obligación del hombre es ser feliz, y la segunda, hacer feliz a los demás”.
