Nuestro audio del día recuerda al escritor mexicano José Emilio Pacheco a 78 años de su nacimiento. Integrante de la llamada "Generación del Medio Siglo", sus artículos y ensayos se caracterizan por reflexionar en torno a la literatura y temas políticos y sociales. Fue acreedor a los premios Magda Donato (1967), Xavier Villaurrutia (1973), Nacional de Lingüística y Literatura de México (1992), Octavio Paz (2003), Pablo Neruda (2004), García Lorca (2005), Reina Sofía de Poesía Iberoamericana y el Cervantes (recibidos ambos en 2009).
