El músico hindú Ravi Shankar (1920-2012) cumpliría hoy 97 años de edad. Para homenajear a este virtuoso del sitar, te invitamos a escuchar Mishra Mand, pieza incluida en el disco no. 7 del álbum Ravi Shankar: A Journey throguh His Music, presentado en una compilación de Long Play Recordings, editada por Membran Entertainment Group.

Ravi Shankar es conocido por popularizar en occidente la música hindú clásica. Fue nominado al premio Grammy 2013 en la categoría de Músicas del Mundo.
