Manuel Enriquez

La Fonoteca Nacional recuerda al destacado compositor y violinista mexicano Manuel Enríquez, a 90 años de su nacimiento.

Como un homenaje sonoro a uno de los primeros compositores mexicanos en abandonar las líneas nacionalistas de conducta musical para crear partituras modernas, de alcance universal y alejadas de preocupaciones de identidad nacional, te compartimos su pieza para violín y cinta titulada Viols, compuesta en 1971 y cuya única fuente sonora es el violín, interpretado por el mismo Enríquez, y a la cual los sonidos fueron transformados y procesados en los laboratorios de Columbia-Princenton de Nueva York.
